The aliance for dropout prevention in Europe is a professional organization hat aims to reduce early school leaving in all European countries. ADPE is an international community in which experiences, visions and views between the members are exchanged and in which new ideas are born. An average of 11.0 % of young people (aged 18–24) in the European Union were early leavers from education and training in 2015. In other words having completed at most a lower secondary education and not being in further education or training.
THE AIMS FOR ADPE ARE
- Collecting, evaluating and publishing studies, reports, national and local measures, and good practices on early school leaving
- Supporting teachers, school heads, policy makers and parents to help reduce early school leaving
- Promoting these views on a European level
