General Assembly Meeting

General Assembly meeting

On the 4th of November, ESHA held its General Assembly (GA) at the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim, Ireland after the very engaging EEPN Final conference

It was a great pleasure to see our members again and it was a special moment to have our members from Ukraine attending again and updating us about the situation of schools and education. Other than discussing internal issues, we had a guest presentation by Juliette Ibarrondo Lasa representing the European Federation for Intercultural Learning on how schools can use ERASMUS+ opportunities.

Biennial 2023 in Dubrovnik

Suzana Hitrec, the host of the next Biennial has presented the status of their plan and actions. Don’t forget to save the date! It will be held on 24-27th October, 2023 in Dubrovnik. The conference website will soon be available along with detailed information and if members would like to recommend speakers, they are requested to email their ideas.

Support for Ukrainian school heads

An important idea to support our Ukrainian school head colleagues was presented: all ESHA members are invited to sponsor one entrance ticket (and hotel costs if possible) for the Biennial for one Ukrainian school head. The biennial host member has announced to sponsor the participation of one delegate. This opportunity to help is open for the public, if you wish to do this or know any other organization that will, please contact us at .

Luca Laszlo, ESHA consultant has presented the outcomes of two projects in workshops: PHERECLOS, that offers a wide range of tools to implement and promote open schooling, and supported by director Petra van Haren SAILS that offers help in digitalization.

GA members will next see each other in Oslo in April at the next GA, where we will be hosted by Skolelederforbundet, our Norwegian member.

Welcome to new members

While ESHA has members from almost all European countries, we are open for new members! Please contact us if you are interested or would like to recommend school heads organizations.
